Unit History
The 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) – Vietnam honors the elite Green Berets who served during the Vietnam War. As part of the U.S. Army Special Forces, the 5th SFG(A) conducted unconventional warfare, reconnaissance, and counterinsurgency operations throughout Southeast Asia from 1964 to 1971.
