Unit History

The 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile), including E Company, 52nd Infantry (Airborne), served with distinction during the Vietnam War. Utilizing helicopters for rapid troop deployment, fire support, and medical evacuation, the division and its airborne infantry units conducted intense combat operations, including search-and-destroy missions and defensive engagements. Soldiers of E Company demonstrated courage, resilience, and dedication under fire, earning recognition as combat veterans.
