Unit History
The Military Police (MP) Branch at Fort Sill, Oklahoma is responsible for training and supporting Soldiers in law enforcement, security, and battlefield policing duties. Fort Sill, known primarily as a major artillery training center, also hosts Military Police units that provide installation security, convoy and base defense, and law enforcement support.
MP Soldiers stationed at Fort Sill are trained in both garrison and field operations, maintaining readiness to respond to domestic emergencies, support training exercises, and deploy in support of Army and joint operations worldwide. Their service upholds the Army’s standards of discipline, law enforcement, and protection of personnel and assets.
