The 2nd Infantry Regiment, one of the U.S. Army’s oldest and most storied infantry units, proudly carries the motto “Do Not Touch Me.” Since the early 1800s, the regiment has fought in major conflicts including the War of 1812, Civil War, World Wars, and modern operations.
