Unit History

The 25th Infantry Regiment, one of the famed Buffalo Soldier units established in 1866, served across the Western frontier, protecting settlers and supporting Army campaigns during the Indian Wars. The regiment later distinguished itself in the Spanish–American War, the Philippine–American War, and both World Wars. Known for bravery, discipline, and unwavering service, the 25th Infantry Regiment remains one of the most respected units in U.S. Army history.
