7th Infantry Division - Fort Ord wo BkGrd
The 7th Infantry Division, known as the "Bayonet Division," was based at Fort Ord, California, from 1974 to 1994. As a light infantry unit, it played key roles in operations like Just Cause (Panama) and Golden Pheasant (Honduras). Fort Ord's closure in 1994 ended its long-standing connection with the division.
