The 12th Field Artillery Regiment is a unit of the United States Army. Home Station Fort Sill, Oklahoma (1st Battalion) and Fort Carson, Colorado (2nd Battalion) 2nd Howitzer Battalion, 12th Artillery was assigned to the 8th Infantry Division and activated in Baumholder, Germany on 1 May 1960. The battalion was relieved from the 8th Infantry Division and inactivated in Germany, 1 April 1963.
