The 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment was a combat unit in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War, known as "Strike Force" and part of the "Screaming Eagles". It saw extensive combat from 1965 to 1972, participating in major campaigns such as the Tet Offensive. The unit sustained significant casualties, with 474 soldiers killed in action during its Vietnam service.
