Die-Cut Magnets - DUI - 1st Infantry Division X 300
The 1st Infantry Division was constituted on May 24, 1917, in response to U.S. entry into World War I, and organized on June 8, 1917, at Fort Jay, New York. Initially formed from units on the Mexican border and other U.S. Army posts, it comprised four infantry regiments (16th, 18th, 26th, 28th) and supporting artillery, engineer, signal, trench mortar, and machine gun units, with an authorized strength of over 18,000 men, later expanding to 27,000 with additional units
