During the Korean War, women in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) served in various roles, including medical support, administration, and communications, both in the United States and overseas. While most WAC personnel were stationed within the U.S., some served in hospitals in Europe and Japan. Women also served in Mobile Army Surgical Hospitals (MASH), MEDEVAC units, and on hospital ships.
