The 108th Airborne Division was a United States Army Reserve unit active from 1946 to 1952, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It was officially known as the "Golden Griffins" and was reorganized in 1952 into an infantry division before eventually evolving into the 108th Training Command. During its time as an airborne division, the unit had a small personnel strength and minimal funding for airborne training and equipment.
