To obtain Cold War Selective Service history as a veteran, you can submit a Record Request Form to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), providing your full name, date of birth, and address at the time of registration to find your classification record. A Cold War veteran is generally defined as someone who served in the US Armed Forces for over 365 days between September 2, 1945, and December 26, 1991, and received an honorable discharge.
