The 304th Signal Battalion, which evolved into the 304th Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced (ESB-E), was a long-standing U.S. Army unit in South Korea, moving from Camp Colbern to Camp Stanley in 2005 to provide theater-level signal support for UN, Combined Forces, and U.S. Forces Korea. Its history began in 1921, and after serving in World War II and the Korean War, it established a long presence in Korea before the unit was inactivated and its mission assumed by other units at Camp Humphreys in 2013.
