The 102nd Cavalry Regiment is a historic New Jersey Army National Guard unit with lineage dating back to 1890, serving in conflicts including World War II, and has also seen recent deployments to Iraq and Jordan. Known for its significant actions during World War II, the regiment participated in Operation Overlord, the liberation of Paris, and was the first Allied unit to cross the Meuse River and one of the first to reach the Rhine. Today, its descendants continue to serve in various capacities
