The 24th Evacuation Hospital was a U.S. Army medical facility in Vietnam, most notably located in Long Binh. It served as a key treatment center for severely wounded soldiers, with notable accounts from a chaotic incident in January 1971 when an ammunition dump explosion caused significant damage and danger to staff and patients. The hospital provided critical care, often by flashlight, in the aftermath of the explosion.
